Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise product, engineering, and security teams on how public sector and AI governance requirements land in IAM, including authorization boundaries, authentication, evidence, and agreement record integrity.
  • •Build the practice by developing templates, positions, and training so legal and cross-functional teams can handle routine public sector work independently.
  • •Partner with go-to-market and cross-functional teams on public sector opportunities, advising on procurement processes, proposals, and strategy.
  • •Help build Docusign’s government/public sector relationships and close deals that bring IAM to public sector customers.
  • •Define playbooks, templates, and positions that let the team move faster on public sector matters.

Key Requirements

  • •Basic Law degree from an accredited law school.
  • •Admitted to practice and in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction.
  • •8+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience.
  • •Experience negotiating complex agreements with federal, state, and/or local government customers and prime contractors.
  • •Experience with government procurement regimes (including the FAR and DFARS) and compliance frameworks for government cloud (such as FedRAMP and DoD Impact Levels).
