Job Summary

Support the Performance Reporting Lead to build and refine a programme performance and reporting framework for rail projects. Help define and maintain KPIs, coordinate collection and validation of programme data, and assist with performance report preparation that reflects project progress and delivery performance. Maintain project management tools, schedules, and databases, monitor milestones and deliverables, escalate issues, and help ensure reporting quality, safety, and continuous improvement across stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the creation and maintenance of the programme’s performance and reporting framework, including processes, procedures, systems, controls, and templates.
•Coordinate the collection and validation of programme data and assist in preparing performance reports reflecting project progress and delivery performance.
•Maintain and update project management tools, schedules, and databases to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
•Support KPI development, communication, and tracking across the project, including defining and maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
•Monitor milestones and deliverables, track progress, escalate issues or deviations, support risk identification and mitigation, and help ensure safety and quality standards are followed.

Key Requirements

•Experience specialising in project performance reporting for major infrastructure programmes or projects of comparable scale and complexity.
•Proficiency with reporting tools including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
•Experience using business intelligence platforms such as Tableau and Power BI for reporting and insights.
•Ability to work with cost management and financial management systems, plus recognised industry publishing tools.
•Strong data visualisation and analytical techniques to produce clear, actionable reporting outputs.
