Job Summary

Build and evolve ByteDance’s compute infrastructure platform, supporting large-scale, highly available cloud infrastructure for both public cloud products and internal systems. You’ll design and implement prototypes and core feature improvements, research industry and open-source trends, and review implementations to ensure alignment with long-term vision and roadmap. Focus areas include deep cloud/AI infrastructure and GPU compute stack components.

•Design and implement prototypes of key technologies or products for compute infrastructure.
•Design and implement core feature improvements for the compute platform.
•Research and track trends from industry, open-source communities, and academia.
•Review designs and implementations to ensure alignment with the long-term vision and roadmap.

Key Requirements

•BS or above degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
•3 years of experience as a senior development engineer.
•3 years of experience building large-scale cloud infrastructure.
•Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure or AI infrastructure.
•Familiarity with GPU infrastructure, including GPU cluster management, job scheduling, and collective communication libraries, plus ML frameworks/inference engines (e.g., vLLM, SGLang) and server hardware platforms (CPU/DPU/GPU/CXL).
