Job Summary

Design, build, and continuously improve Celonis’ enterprise Finance Systems landscape with deep expertise in Workday Financials. Partner with Accounting and Finance stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions, owning end-to-end delivery from discovery through post-production support. Lead technical discovery sessions and guide other Finance Systems Engineers, configuring Workday, driving integrations and automation, and continuously optimizing data integrity, resilience, and finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead functional and technical design of complex Workday Financials enhancements across multiple domains.
•Independently own end-to-end technical delivery for initiatives, from discovery and solution design through testing, deployment, and production support.
•Configure and optimize Workday Financials to ensure consistency, scalability, and financial data integrity; drive improvements through automation and process simplification.
•Design and implement lightweight integrations and workflow automations using Make.com and other integration platforms; troubleshoot and improve resilience and maintainability.
•Serve as a trusted technical partner to Corporate Accounting, investigating issues across Workday and connected systems and supporting Workday biannual releases.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience supporting Workday Financials in a complex enterprise environment.
•Strong functional knowledge across Workday Financials modules including General Ledger and (Procurement, Accounts Payable, Expenses, Banking, Billing, Accounts Receivable, and/or Revenue Management).
•Expert-level proficiency configuring Workday business processes, security frameworks, custom reporting, and complex calculated fields.
•Proven experience leveraging EIBs for efficient data management.
•Strong experience leading end-to-end solution delivery (discovery through testing, deployment, and post-production support) and working with Workday integrations; full professional proficiency in English required.
