Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead implementation of DP World HSE strategy, policies, standards, and objectives while advising project leadership as an HSE SME.
  • •Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Health & Safety Management Plans; review method statements, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
  • •Manage contractor HSE performance including tender/prequalification evaluation, onboarding, monitoring, audits/inspections, and corrective actions.
  • •Lead incident management by investigating incidents/near misses/dangerous occurrences and occupational health events, identifying root causes and driving CAPA closure and lessons learned.
  • •Ensure training/competence, emergency preparedness plans and drills, and report HSE performance indicators and dashboards for project and corporate reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in health & safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • •NEBOSH International Diploma (or equivalent) and a Lead Auditor qualification.
  • •Minimum 8 years of HSE experience, including at least 5 years in a project HSE management role.
  • •Proven experience managing HSE on major projects, including collaborating with contractors and complex stakeholder environments.
  • •Strong understanding of UAE and international HSE regulations and standards.
