Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive execution of the global privacy program, partnering on strategy, policies, standards, and controls across multiple international privacy and AI frameworks.
  • •Lead AI governance execution from the legal/privacy side, including day-to-day EU AI Act classification and related obligations.
  • •Provide privacy by design guidance for AI products, including model data governance and secondary data-use analysis, and set diligence standards for AI/LLM vendors.
  • •Partner on privacy operations including DSARs/data-subject rights, ROPA/data mapping, DPIA/PIA/TIA/LIA assessments, retention, consent/cookie management, and audit support.
  • •Build and operate AI automation to scale privacy workflows (e.g., DPIA triage/drafting and subprocessor determination) and serve as escalation point for DPAs/SCCs/subprocessor terms.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 199,800 - 235,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •J.D. from an accredited law school and member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar.
  • •CIPP/E and CIPP/US certifications.
  • •6–8+ years of relevant privacy and data protection experience with strong program execution depth.
  • •Deep expertise in European privacy and digital regulation, including GDPR/UK GDPR, and familiarity with NIS2, DORA, the EU AI Act, and the EU Data Act.
  • •Experience operating in or advising technology companies (ideally cybersecurity, SaaS, or cloud) and contributing to running a privacy program, including product legal counseling.
