Location: United States
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Own thermal design and analysis of electronics from board/component level through enclosures and full assemblies.
  • •Define thermal architecture and heat-rejection paths (conduction, natural/forced convection, cold plates, heat sinks, heat pipes, TIMs, coatings) to keep components within limits.
  • •Establish hot/cold/edge-case operating conditions for platforms, accounting for environment-specific factors like altitude/flight envelopes, salt fog/humidity, solar load, and comfort limits.
  • •Develop and use thermal FEA/CFD models to predict performance; define red/yellow design limits for test and operation.
  • •Plan and execute prototype builds and thermal testing (including CAD, sensor/DAQ selection, data post-processing), and present status at formal internal/customer reviews.
