Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide controls engineering support for programs as needs fluctuate, including development of flight actuation control system architectures and implementation of advanced control laws.
  • •Design and execute hardware test plans, including analysis of air performance simulation and verification against requirements and anchor models.
  • •Develop high-fidelity motor and flexible gear train models that include nonlinearity and temperature dependencies.
  • •Analyze missile servo position performance in simulation, ground, and flight test settings.
  • •Flex responsibilities based on organizational needs and your skill sets, including autonomous work with regular/periodic oversight.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years experience.
  • •Minimum 8 years of experience in air vehicle or missile flight actuation control design and/or analysis, including control architecture design and/or performance analysis.
  • •Experience with servo controls systems engineering (systems/mechanical engineering of servo controls).
  • •Experience developing CAS requirements and architecture, including verification and validation, system performance/function, and safety/environmental compliance.
  • •Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision and communicate effectively with senior leadership and other engineering disciplines.
