Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive systematic and tactical changes to improve engineering quality, reliability, robustness, and design practices.
  • •Make long-term optimal technical decisions for scalable, maintainable systems and coach others in doing so.
  • •Partner with product to design, define, and shape new banking product offerings.
  • •Solve forefront customer problems and needs as a technical problem solver.
  • •Research and prototype new product ideas and help foster an engineering excellence culture with ownership and collaboration.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of engineering experience designing and building software.
  • •Experience as a (senior) Staff Engineer / Tech Lead in comparable companies serving organizations of around 30 engineers.
  • •Proven track record designing, building, scaling, and operating large, complex engineering systems.
  • •Prior experience with financial infrastructure, ideally in issuing, banking, treasury, and/or embedded finance.
  • •Experience coaching/mentoring engineers and driving technical discussions to sound decisions.
