Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead shaping of the company’s engagement with DeFi, digital assets, and blockchain-based market infrastructure.
  • •Structure, draft, negotiate, and advise on complex commercial agreements covering digital assets, licensing indices, index data subscription/distribution, inbound data, and deployment of blockchain technology.
  • •Collaborate with legal, product, technology, and commercial leaders to provide practical, strategic legal advice on emerging products and business initiatives.
  • •Support compliance with applicable policies and procedures (e.g., confidentiality, insider trading, and compliance).
  • •Assist with RFP responses and customer due diligence/risk questionnaires; handle special projects as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •J.D. or LLM and admitted to practice law in any of the states listed within the location.
  • •6+ years of legal experience, including commercial contract negotiation and drafting (possibly in an in-house legal environment).

  • •Familiarity with data licensing and intellectual property principles, with knowledge of business technology.
