Lead structuring, drafting, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements across digital assets and data licensing, while supporting compliance and responding to customer due diligence requests.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead shaping of the company’s engagement with DeFi, digital assets, and blockchain-based market infrastructure.
•Structure, draft, negotiate, and advise on complex commercial agreements covering digital assets, licensing indices, index data subscription/distribution, inbound data, and deployment of blockchain technology.
•Collaborate with legal, product, technology, and commercial leaders to provide practical, strategic legal advice on emerging products and business initiatives.
•Support compliance with applicable policies and procedures (e.g., confidentiality, insider trading, and compliance).
•Assist with RFP responses and customer due diligence/risk questionnaires; handle special projects as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 149,031 - 260,291.25 annually

Key Requirements

•J.D. or LLM and admitted to practice law in any of the states listed within the location.
•6+ years of legal experience, including commercial contract negotiation and drafting (possibly in an in-house legal environment).
•Familiarity with financial services, investment products, decentralized finance, digital asset regulation, and blockchain infrastructure/tokenized assets.
•Familiarity with data licensing and intellectual property principles, with knowledge of business technology.
•Excellent drafting, negotiating, and communication skills; ability to manage high-volume, complex environments with judgment.
