Job Summary

Lead system and silicon debug for AMD EPYC Server and AMD Instinct products within the post-silicon validation group. Drive debug strategy and resolution for system-level failures, identify root cause, and help meet POR quality milestones by improving debug throughput. Manage technical risks and program issues, publish debug indicators, and coordinate across global engineering teams and stakeholders including system architects, IP design, SoC, firmware, software, and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform system and silicon debug for AMD EPYC Server and AMD Instinct products across silicon bring-up, systems validation, and production phases.
•Lead complex debug efforts to identify root cause and resolution for internal silicon findings.
•Ensure technical issues are solved on time with quality and track issues, risks, and priorities to un-gate program milestones.
•Publish debug program indicators to identify major roadblocks and drive changes to improve debug throughput.
•Drive technical innovation across triage and debug, including tool/script development and methodology enhancements, and manage customer/executive communications.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 154,490 - 264,840 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering with 15+ years of applicable experience.
•Extensive experience in validation roles debugging OS, firmware, silicon, and hardware issues.
•Strong knowledge of X86 architecture, SoC design, memory, RAS, and power management.
•Good understanding and experience in platform/system-level debug, including operating system, device drivers, and system BIOS interactions.
•Experience with technical program management and technical debug/validation strategy, with excellent communication and self-starter ownership.
