  • •Prepare and maintain immersive simulation equipment, media, computers, and materials for all users.
  • •Provide technical operational support to ensure immersive simulation systems and related equipment run properly and efficiently.
  • •Assist learners and the Immersive Simulation Facilitator with simulation work and preparation for lab experiences.
  • •Collaborate with the Director of Lab to maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and support props placement and moulage setup.
  • •Assist with development of scenarios used for simulation experiences.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have a granted diploma or certification relative to background experience (e.g., medical assistant diploma).
  • •Two or more years of patient care experience in roles such as Paramedic, Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician/CNA, EMT, Respiratory Therapist, LPN, RN, or Simulation Technician (or similar).
  • •Two years related experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, pharmacology, and equipment.
  • •Unencumbered Florida LPN or RN licensure or Florida certification helpful but not required.
