Job Summary

Drive commercial construction field sales by selling DEWALT, BLACK+DECKER, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, and PORTER-CABLE brands to end-user customers in your assigned territory. Build and maintain relationships with end-user partners, manage CORE and other SBD contracts, and coach a local market team on end-user development. Coordinate with Channel Marketing, use Salesforce.com for CRM/planning, and communicate performance to achieve sales targets.

•Establish, develop, and maintain key end-user relationships through product and service solutions and management of CORE and other SBD user contracts/programs.
•Teach and mentor the local market team on end-user development and aligning efforts with local market teams, product managers, distributors, and service centers.
•Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives.
•Maintain and use Salesforce.com for CRM and planning; communicate successes and failures for improvement with key accounts and opportunities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields (relevant construction field experience may substitute).
•3+ years of experience in sales or marketing for construction supplies with a proven track record delivering results.
•Experience selling to high-level executives, C-suite, and jobsite directors.
•Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal/written communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
•Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel up to 50% within the territory assignment.
