Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and train deep-learning and machine-learning models to extract insights from large repositories of time-series biosensor data.
  • •Stay current on the latest DL research advancements and technologies.
  • •Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and document algorithms for regulated health features.
  • •Conduct experiments, perform rigorous testing, and optimize/fine-tune DL/ML (including foundation AI models) for production deployment under compute and real-time constraints.
  • •Monitor model performance across a diverse user population, address data/data-quality issues, and collaborate to translate research prototypes into scalable, efficient inference systems.

Salary: USD 150,000 - 215,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related field.
  • •Published ML/DL research papers, preferably applying ML/DL to biomedical data.
  • •Strong ML fundamentals with emphasis on deep learning and the mathematics behind the algorithms.
  • •4+ years of work/academic experience as an ML/DL researcher (2+ years post-PhD for PhD holders).
  • •Experience with regulated or high-risk ML systems (e.g., digital health / software as a medical device), including validation and documentation expectations is a plus.
