Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform building controls design for electronic comfort control and automation systems across a variety of building types.
  • •Obtain and review contract documents (mechanical plans, specifications, estimates, submittals) for incorporation into the automation system design.
  • •Create installation drawings, submittal drawings, as-built drawings, and transition documentation to the field.
  • •Develop advanced sequences of operations that meet project requirements and generate Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
  • •Support project delivery by transitioning documents to the field and assisting with wiring/programming, electrical terminations, commissioning, graphic development, test, and startup as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction, Engineering Technology, or related areas; or 7+ years of HVAC industry experience in project management or estimating; or equivalent education and work experience.
  • •Familiarity with operation and design of HVAC systems, building automation systems, and/or temperature controls.
  • •Experience with drafting/design programs.
  • •Windows operating system and Microsoft Office product knowledge.
  • •Some travel to construction sites within the district and a valid driver’s license with no major/frequent violations.
