Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely on required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading and unloading goods/materials, using specialized equipment when warranted.
  • •Maintain signed invoices and shipping paperwork (bills of lading), deliver documentation when the route is complete, and facilitate routine truck service.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license (depending on state) appropriate for the vehicle weight.

  • •Pass a DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate the company vehicle.
  • •Be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and travel frequently.
