Job Summary

Deliver high-school science instruction in a virtual environment, providing engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning and personalizing instruction based on student mastery. Monitor progress through the Stride K12 learning management system, maintain accurate grade books, and prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests. Partner with learning coaches/parents for timely support and communication, while troubleshooting virtual classroom needs and traveling occasionally for school functions.

•Provide rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous science learning experiences.
•Differentiate instruction based on student mastery and personalize learning for all students.
•Maintain grade books, support placement/promotion decisions, and alert administrators to student performance and progress concerns.
•Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests using course content and required policies/procedures.
•Establish and maintain positive rapport with families; communicate with and support students and learning coaches/parents, including basic virtual troubleshooting and occasional travel (about once per month or ~20%).

Salary: USD 60,940 - 91,410 annually
