Job Summary

Operate and maintain coater equipment at the start of the semiconductor coating process to manufacture high-quality photovoltaic solar modules. Ensure safety and housekeeping, perform intermediate-level alarm response, basic quality control, and preventative maintenance. Monitor process parameters and alarms using machine control panels and computers, apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) concepts for process control, and provide on-the-job and certified training when required.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment to meet quality and productivity targets.
•Perform preventative maintenance and basic equipment maintenance using hand tools and instrumentation.
•Interface with equipment computers to monitor parameters and alarms, and monitor process data (including SPC) to maintain process control.
•Address intermediate-level alarms, recognize conditions requiring escalation, and communicate issues and recommendations.
•Provide on-the-job training to team members when requested and complete required training on schedule.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 17.84 - 25 hourly

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED is required.
•Prefer an Associate degree or certificate in a technical discipline.
•2+ years of manufacturing experience.
•Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, plus math skills to understand and apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) concepts.
•Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively in written and oral formats.
