Complete mechanical repair, overhaul, and maintenance of compressed air equipment and associated products, ensuring accurate paperwork and service reporting. Diagnose issues in air compressors and generators using electrical/mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic tools, and perform scheduled maintenance such as inspections, lubrication, oil changes, and filter kit replacements. Provide technical assistance to customers, follow safety protocols including JSA and PPE, and support rental inventory management while traveling to customer sites.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Diagnose problems in air compressors and generators using electrical/mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic equipment, and perform repairs to restore functionality.
•Carry out scheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns, including inspecting components, cleaning, lubricating, replacing filter kits, changing oil, cleaning oil and air coolers, and re-greasing motors/parts.
•Provide technical assistance to customers on mechanical systems, including troubleshooting guidance, maintenance procedures, and usage recommendations.
•Maintain accurate service records, completing service reports, work permits, and documentation in a timely manner.
•Adhere to safety protocols, complete JSA, use appropriate PPE, isolate machines using personal locks/tags, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Key Requirements

•Previous experience in a maintenance field service environment.
•Commitment to workplace safety and ability to follow safety protocols.
•Australian Manual Drivers License.
•Excellent customer service ability.
•Experience with pneumatic equipment and skills in fault finding in compressed air equipment.
