Own the rotating equipment integration scope for power plant development, from technical specifications and OEM evaluation through equipment selection, mechanical interfaces, construction support, and commissioning. Work across gas turbines, steam turbines, and HRSGs, reviewing drawings and managing interfaces among major equipment packages. Coordinate with civil/structural engineering on dynamic loading and vibration criteria, support FAT, and troubleshoot in the field during startup.

Key Responsibilities

•Own rotating equipment integration from technical specification through equipment selection, interface management, construction, and into commissioning.
•Develop technical specifications for gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSGs, and associated auxiliaries (lube oil systems, gas fuel skids, SCR/CO catalyst systems).
•Lead technical evaluation of OEM proposals and drive equipment selection recommendations (GE, Siemens Energy, Mitsubishi Power, Doosan).
•Manage mechanical interfaces between major equipment packages and ensure constructibility by reviewing/approving OEM drawings, GA layouts, and P&IDs.
•Support commissioning and startup on-site, including mechanical checkout, alignment verification, vibration baseline testing, and field troubleshooting.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
•2+ years of experience with utility-scale rotating equipment such as gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSGs, or large industrial compressors/pumps.
•Working knowledge of rotating equipment fundamentals including rotor dynamics, bearing design, lube oil systems, thermal expansion, and alignment.
•Experience developing mechanical specifications and evaluating OEM bids for major equipment packages.
•Familiarity with API 611/612/616/617 standards for rotating equipment.
