Key Responsibilities

  • •Shape and implement the Institute strategy for learning, teaching, and assessment to ensure an outstanding student experience.
  • •Develop and embed AI approaches in teaching, learning, and assessment so students can function effectively and ethically in the AI era.
  • •Internationalise programmes via well-planned transitions to distance, blended, and hybrid learning, coordinating with engineering integration for coherent programme delivery.
  • •Ensure robust, academically credible recognition, assessment, and awarding of credit for workplace-based learning.
  • •Lead and line manage senior academic staff, set quality targets and performance indicators, manage compliance with regulators, and ensure appropriate external lecturer quality.
