Job Summary

Senior CPU Debug Engineer to lead logical debugging of Core CPU designs, collaborate with Architecture and Design teams, and provide top-tier customer debug support. You will develop debugging tools, drive process improvements, and coordinate across Hardware, Software, and Validation teams to ensure Intel Core CPUs meet quality and performance targets for customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and actively participate in the logical debugging of Core CPU designs, analyzing and resolving complex logic issues during validation and in customer fields.
•Collaborate with Architecture and Design teams to provide input on architecture and design specifications, ensuring CPU implementation aligns with architectural intent focusing on DFD and DFX methodologies.
•Serve as a technical point of contact for customers, addressing queries and debugging requests related to the Core CPU.
•Develop and maintain debugging tools and methodologies to facilitate efficient CPU debugging and stay up-to-date with industry standards.
•Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the CPU debug process, techniques, and tools and implement enhancements to increase efficiency.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
•5+ years of experience in CPU debugging, with a focus on Core CPU logic and design.
•Proficiency in using industry-standard debugging tools and methodologies.
•Strong knowledge of CPU architecture and design principles.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex issues efficiently.
