Job Summary

Design and execute SWHW software and hardware testing with Dyson and third-party JDM partners to ensure robust product quality from development through delivery. Own test strategy/plan, build automated test cases and continuous testing environments, and review implementations/source code. Verify feature compatibility and performance through stability and soak testing, analyze results, and prepare test summary reports while working in an Agile environment and continuously improving systems using new technologies (including AI tools).

Key Responsibilities

•Foster collaboration with China-based JDM partners and serve as the bridge to Dyson Test & QA teams in Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
•Define the SWHW test strategy/plan together with the JDM partner.
•Design SWHW test cases from requirements and develop automated test cases.
•Design the SWHW test environment and build automated systems for continuous testing and analysis of nightly builds.
•Review implementations/source code, identify quality issues and risks, verify features compatibility/performance (including soak, robustness, stability tests), and analyze results to produce test summary reports.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of software quality or software test relevant experience.
•Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or Electronic Engineering (or related fields).
•Competency in at least one scripting/coding language, including Python, C, or C++.
•Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and RTOS operating systems.
•Experience collaborating on software & hardware test/QA with JDM/ODM partners, and working in Agile software development or DevOps.
