Lead bridge and structural engineering efforts on mid-size projects in Madrid, coordinating multi-office teams across Spain, Poland and India. Key Responsibilities

•Lead as bridge or structures lead engineer on mid-size EC projects.
•Make day-to-day decisions for a technical team, integrating resources from different EC offices.
•Provide technical expertise for studies and design efforts and conduct value engineering evaluations.
•Categorize work packages, elaborate execution plans and define delivery strategy with internal clients.
•Perform quality control reviews and sign off on work; train and mentor less experienced staff.

Key Requirements

•Master degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
•8+ years proven experience in bridges and/or structures design with international/multi-cultural teams.
•Fluent in English (oral and written).
•Experience with international regulations and standards (e.g., AASTHO, AREMA, Aus-Codes, BS).
•Proficiency in engineering calculation software for bridge and structures (preferably Midas Civil; CSi Bridge also acceptable)
