Job Summary

Lead the digital underwriting strategy for Aon Underwriting Managers (AUM), aligning technology, data and AI with business growth goals. Drive the development and rollout of Aon’s Digital Placement Exchange (DPX) and wider placement platforms. Transform underwriting processes with digital solutions, data-driven decisioning and algorithmic capabilities, while acting as a visible change leader across underwriting teams. Influence senior stakeholders across Aon and carrier partners and serve on AUM’s Executive Committee to shape the operating model and digital agenda.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and deliver AUM’s digital underwriting strategy, aligning technology, data and AI with business growth objectives.
•Represent AUM in developing and rolling out Aon’s Digital Placement Exchange (DPX) and wider placement platforms.
•Transform underwriting processes using digital solutions, data-driven decision making, and algorithmic underwriting capabilities.
•Drive innovation and continuous improvement by identifying emerging technologies that enhance performance, efficiency, and partner experience.
•Embed digital thinking as a change leader and influence senior stakeholders across Aon and carrier partners; serve on the AUM Executive Committee.

Key Requirements

•Proven underwriting or delegated authority leadership with experience in digital transformation and technology-enabled change.
•Strong understanding of London Market dynamics, underwriting operations, and delegated authority frameworks.
•Track record delivering business change through collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
•Excellent communication and influencing skills, building credibility across underwriting, technology, and commercial teams.
•Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business outcomes and opportunities.
