Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the final technical escalation point for complex automation/control/electrical/facility failures before engineering or external support.
  • •Lead advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting for automated systems including AS/RS, shuttle systems, goods-to-person automation, sortation equipment, and integrated material handling platforms.
  • •Troubleshoot facility infrastructure including power distribution, dock systems, building mechanical systems, and safety-critical assets.
  • •Perform and oversee light-to-medium fabrication and repair work (cutting, drilling, grinding, welding, and bracket/guard fabrication) to improve reliability and safety.
  • •Lead formal root cause analysis for major downtime and chronic failures; develop corrective actions and influence preventive maintenance strategies using CMMS data.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (advanced technical education preferred).
  • •7+ years of progressive industrial maintenance experience in highly automated environments.
  • •Extensive hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated material handling systems (e.g., AS/RS, sortation, shuttle, conveyors).
  • •Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial hydraulic systems, preferably including balers/compactors or similar equipment.
  • •Strong electrical, controls, and facility systems background with demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring capability.
