Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the post-sales technical relationship for up to three strategic enterprise accounts, taking accountability from the Solutions Architect and running weekly check-ins, monthly business reviews, quarterly QBRs, and annual roadmap workshops.
  • •Lead post-incident pattern ownership and technical triage by driving post-mortems, identifying architectural root causes, and owning remediation roadmaps with a 4-business-hour response commitment for P1/P2 escalations.
  • •Drive proactive technical strategy, cost optimization, and architectural guidance through architectural reviews, technical risk mapping, cost/usage optimization, and pre-launch readiness assessments.
  • •Scope and orchestrate broader Vercel engagements (Forward Deployed Engineers and Professional Services), coordinating outcomes and integrating them into the customer’s longer-term technical roadmap.
  • •Operate as the customer’s voice inside Vercel by translating technical needs into signals for Product, Engineering, and Support and holding internal teams accountable to commitments.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in customer-facing technical roles at a platform, infrastructure, or developer tools company, including TAM, solutions architecture, developer success, customer support engineering, field engineering, or hands-on technical consulting.
  • •Deep production experience with Next.js and the Vercel platform, including App Router internals, ISR and caching strategies, Fluid Compute, and the AI SDK.
  • •Experience personally owning customer relationships at the $1M+ ACV tier, including running QBRs, roadmap workshops, handling procurement/legal, and managing renewals.
  • •Demonstrated track record of coordinating across Engineering, Product, and Support without formal authority to deliver technical outcomes.
  • •Strong written communication for executive and incident contexts, including clear incident summaries, post-mortems, and executive readouts.
