Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead delivery of cost management services for construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality and budgetary targets are met.
  • •Take line management responsibility for cost managers and team members, including performance reviews, interviews, and resource planning against the project pipeline.
  • •Act as key day-to-day interface with clients and stakeholders, leading multidisciplinary teams across clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • •Develop cost benchmarks, establish cost reporting structures, and implement cost controls across schedule, cost, risk, and change management.
  • •Act as Commission Manager, manage estimating and cost planning revisions, produce monthly post-contract cost reports, and lead value engineering and life cycle costing; support business development through proposals and presentations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
  • •Minimum 10 years’ experience in cost management or construction projects (e.g., cost manager, construction manager, procurement, project manager, consultant).
  • •Strong communication and leadership skills with experience in people management.
  • •Strong business acumen to drive client outcomes and coordinate with construction and design teams to meet deadlines.
  • •Experience in client management with advisory skills in value management, value engineering, and life cycle costing.
