Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop a machining team across 1st and 2nd shift, including machining specialists, technicians, and quality specialists.
  • •Set first-article and process-troubleshooting standards, diagnose hard process problems, and ensure corrective loops when targets are missed.
  • •Stand up and run development CNC machines and CMM/supporting processes so production CNC machines remain on rate work.
  • •Deliver NPI, process development, and engineering test hardware on schedule.
  • •Drive yield, cycle time, cost, and floor-space improvements and transfer proven processes into production while managing development cell capacity and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of CNC machining experience, with the ability to diagnose and solve difficult machining and process problems.
  • •1+ year of experience leading machinists, technicians, or a shop floor team.
  • •Set and maintain first-article quality discipline, including process troubleshooting and closing the loop when parts miss standards.
  • •Advanced CNC programming experience, including macros.
  • •Precision inspection experience using CMM and/or tools such as micrometers, calipers, and profilometers.
