Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop automated optical inspection (AOI) solutions for defect detection, classification, measurement, and traceability.
  • •Lead machine vision hardware selection and integration, including cameras, lenses, lighting, filters, frame grabbers, and related components.
  • •Develop image acquisition strategies and optimize optical setups (field of view, depth of field, lighting geometry, and camera positioning).
  • •Build and validate machine vision algorithms for inspection, measurement, alignment, OCR/OCV, pattern matching, and defect detection.
  • •Perform camera calibration, system characterization, GR&R, and inspection performance validation; troubleshoot in lab and factory environments and drive root-cause analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •Hands-on experience developing and deploying machine vision or automated optical inspection systems in an industrial environment, including integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • •Proficiency in Python and familiarity with image processing or computer vision tools such as OpenCV, with solid software engineering practices.
  • •Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and clear communication in a cross-cultural environment.
  • •Willingness to work in lab/factory settings and follow safety, change-control, and operational procedures.
