Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead development and deployment of molded inductor technologies and product platforms, owning material formulation, molding process innovation, and product design execution.
  • •Direct cross-functional product development work from magnetic design through reliability qualification and manufacturing transfer to deliver high-performance, cost-competitive products.
  • •Drive the molded inductor product roadmap, focusing on advanced magnetic materials, high-current density designs, miniaturization, and manufacturing excellence for successful launches.
  • •Manage and mentor the product development team to execute design, validation, qualification, and product launch activities.
  • •Provide verification and technical leadership: product verification, reliability qualification, regulatory compliance, failure analysis/corrective actions, and engineering change/lifecycle management.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Material Science/Engineering, Powder Metallurgy, or related field.
  • •Minimum 15+ years of hands-on experience in molded powder inductors.
  • •Expertise in magnetic circuit design, electromagnetic theory, power magnetics, including core loss, DC bias, saturation, thermal effects, and EMI/EMC.
  • •Hands-on knowledge of soft magnetic materials, powder formulation, insulation coating, binder systems, and molded magnetic technologies.
  • •Experience with molded inductor manufacturing processes (powder mixing, molding, curing, plating, process optimization, scale-up) plus reliability/qualification (e.g., AEC-Q200, FMEA).
