Job Summary

Deliver structural engineering solutions for heavy industrial projects from concept through detailed design, construction support, and commissioning. Provide technical and leadership support across Bio Products, Oil & Gas, and Pulp & Paper facilities, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior engineers. Engage directly with clients to meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives, and produce structural designs, analysis, and calculation packages.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead projects, including management of discipline budget, schedule, progress, and changes.
•Deliver structural design and analysis to applicable codes and standards, including structural steel and reinforced concrete design.
•Supervise, direct, and authenticate work of engineers, including performing checks on other engineers’ design.
•Prepare technical reports and calculation packages and review project documents prior to issue.
•Attend client and project meetings and conduct field reviews at project work sites, coordinating with other disciplines and project management.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 140,000 - 175,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Must be legally able to work in Canada at the time of application.
•Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with EGBC or APEGA.
•Minimum 15 years of relevant EPC experience in structural design.
•Broad experience designing structures in Oil & Gas and Pulp & Paper projects.
•Proficiency in modeling and analysis using SAP2000, RISA 3D, and STAADPro.
