Job Summary

Design, build, and enhance software for the Finxact Core as a Service platform that supports banking and financial institutions. Work with business analysts, engineers, and implementation partners to translate requirements into scalable application capabilities, improve software quality through automated testing, and strengthen reliability and maintainability. Develop REST-based APIs and integrations using Swagger/JSON and Git workflows, provide technical guidance to developers, and apply cloud SaaS knowledge to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, test, and enhance application features for the Finxact Core as a Service platform using modern engineering practices.
•Partner with business analysts, engineers, and system users to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
•Build and support APIs and service integrations using REST, Swagger, JSON, and Git-based workflows.
•Improve software quality by increasing automated test coverage, resolving defects, and strengthening reliability and maintainability.
•Provide technical guidance by reviewing designs, supporting solution discussions, and promoting software engineering best practices.

Key Requirements

•6+ years designing and developing software in financial services or related enterprise platforms such as core banking, loan servicing, deposits, card processing, or CRM.
•6+ years developing and integrating APIs and distributed services using REST, Swagger (or similar), JSON, and Git.
•6+ years analyzing business and technical requirements and translating them into application design, development, and implementation outcomes.
•Experience leading technical design discussions, reviewing solution approaches, and guiding other developers without direct people management responsibility.
•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
