Job Summary

Shape and execute the Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) procurement category by building data-driven fact bases, running end-to-end sourcing events, and leading complex negotiations and evaluations. Draft and negotiate contracts and statements of work for technology initiatives, strengthen contract management controls, and support supplier relationship management. Partner across Fleet Planning, Market Analysis, Treasury, and Outline Agreement teams to improve safety, asset performance, and total cost of ownership for a global multi-OEM/dealer category.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop data-driven fact bases (including macroeconomic analysis, supplier insights, and HME technology trends) to support HME category and sourcing strategies.
•Manage end-to-end sourcing events, including stakeholder briefings, tender coordination and evaluation, negotiation, award, implementation, and Ariba workspace management.
•Draft and negotiate contracts and statements of work for technology initiatives, ensuring clear scopes, accountabilities, and commercial models.
•Implement and audit contract management controls to prevent value leakage and perform supplier relationship management (SRM) to improve OEM/dealer performance.
•Serve as a category interface across Fleet Planning, Market Analysis, Treasury, Outline Agreement teams, and productivity partners to deliver practical outcomes.

Key Requirements

•5+ years in a commercial, procurement, technical and/or operational role, ideally with exposure to heavy mobile equipment, asset performance, or complex operational environments.
•Experience with complex pricing negotiations, commercial evaluations, and/or financial modelling linking commercial outcomes to operational performance and total cost of ownership.
•Proficiency with Power BI and the Microsoft Office suite, and ideally SAP or a comparable ERP system, using data, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve decision-making.
•Tertiary qualifications in business, accounting, finance, engineering, technology, operations or a related discipline would be beneficial.
•Collaborate effectively across commercial, technical, and operational teams while contributing to a positive team culture in a diverse environment.
