Key Responsibilities

•Lead the strategies of institutional relations and the public affairs agenda for the Commerce vertical in Mercado Livre Brasil, with a focus on logistics activities.
•Represent the company before state and municipal government agencies, chambers of commerce, industry associations and other key stakeholders in the logistics sector.
•Develop, implement and monitor public-private partnership initiatives to optimize logistics and shipments, managing projects and regulatory licenses to ensure compliance for expansion and smooth operation of the network.
•Actively monitor regulatory changes at national, state and municipal levels, anticipating risks and opportunities and promoting creative proposals for sustainable logistics ecosystem development.
•Build and consolidate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and coordinate local actions to improve public visibility and favorable conditions for distribution centers nationwide.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor-type licenciatura in Tax, Economics, Political Science, Law or related fields
•At least 6 years of experience in public affairs, institutional relations or similar areas, preferably in logistics or transportation services
•Experience building relationships with authorities, key sector stakeholders, chambers of commerce, both publicly and privately, international organizations and civil society organizations
•Spanish language fluency; postgraduate specialization in the area desirable
•Ability to lead budgets, manage external consultants and vendors aligned to department objectives
