Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Strategy team by managing and mentoring three direct reports and setting standards for quality, consistency, and client care.
  • •Serve as the technical and professional escalation point for the team’s most difficult strategy questions.
  • •Own a client book of business, leading up to 12 client strategy meetings per week and modeling the standard for the team.
  • •Deliver advanced, holistic strategies across tax minimization, estate planning, business succession, and insurance alignment.
  • •Partner with the VP of Tax to execute, scale, and continuously improve the strategy system, including refining SOPs and building a referral partner bench.

Key Requirements

  • •Active CPA license required.
  • •5+ years of progressive tax strategy experience in public accounting or a high-growth advisory environment.
  • •Proven experience designing and implementing complex tax and wealth strategies for business owners beyond return preparation.

  • •Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills for working with small business owners, with a tech-forward mindset and willingness to champion AI tools.
