Key Responsibilities

  • •Install and maintain plant equipment chutes and pipes according to drawings.
  • •Examine boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, or vats to locate defects for repair.
  • •Perform welding and joining (bolt or arc weld) and ensure leak-proof joints through bell/bead welding.
  • •Inspect and repair or replace pressure vessel parts, valves, regulators, and related components using appropriate tools and machinery.
  • •Install fittings and connections, study blueprints for dimensions, and provide training and development for direct reports.

  • •Minimum Grade 12 certificate and a craft certificate from a recognized institution; must hold a Class C driver’s license.
