Job Summary

Lead business development and program management for transportation and infrastructure projects across Ohio (Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Akron). Oversee active projects and teams, pursue client relationships, and shape pursuits from inception to closeout. Drive opportunities with external firms and internal staff, combining BD tactics with project delivery know-how in highways, transit, rail, bridges, and utilities.

•Formulate and execute project opportunity capture strategies, including teaming and positioning for strategic pursuits and identification of required staff resources to win and effectively deliver projects and programs.
•Business Development including prospecting and proposal development with established relationships with local clients, including ODOT and local agency specifications, policies, and procedures.
•Establish relationships with external and internal clients, builds and maintains relationships with project owners.
•Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM’s values internally and externally.
•Proven track record with client account management, project pursuit execution, and staff development.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 145,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
•Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering
•Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio or ability to obtain one within 6 months
•6+ years of progressive experience delivering projects
•5 years’ experience with proposal and business development, client presentations and relationship development
