Key Responsibilities

•Work closely with local business and IT teams on projects and support items, coordinating with regional delivery teams.
•Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable, secure microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
•Apply Spring Cloud patterns such as service discovery, configuration management, API gateway/routing, and resilience patterns.
•Build API-first services with REST APIs (and/or gRPC), including versioning, idempotency, pagination, error handling, and documentation.
•Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers, leading code/design reviews, setting engineering standards, and guiding delivery execution for initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
•8+ years of professional software development with strong depth in Java.
•Deep expertise in Spring Framework, including hands-on Spring Boot and microservices delivery.
•Proven experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems (resilience, scalability, performance, fault tolerance).
•Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, plus REST API design and microservice communication patterns.
