Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and direct safe, efficient transportation of customer vehicles to and from the auction and designated areas.
  • •Contact customers to determine vehicle availability and schedule pick-up and delivery.
  • •Generate transporter and account aging reports and maintain weekly activity and inventory reports.
  • •Oversee van records, maintenance schedules, licensing, and coordinate department activities with customer account representatives and transporters.
  • •Supervise transportation employees, conduct monthly safety meetings, and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and accident reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED plus 7 years of related work experience, or a higher degree/certification plus 5 years of related work experience, or 9 years of related work experience.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • •1-2 years of auction lot operations experience and knowledge of overall auction functions.
  • •Strong communication and interaction skills with competent supervisory and organizational skills.
  • •Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations preferred; basic computer skills preferred.
