Key Responsibilities

•Lead the development and implementation of MIL-STD-882E compliant system safety programs across management, analysis, evaluation, and verification task series.
•Coordinate safety program execution with CAM/IPTL/product owner and manage the safety budget and tasking, including EACs.
•Create and maintain the IMS schedule, integrating safety tasks and activities into the program IMS.
•Mentor junior safety engineers and lead System Safety Working Groups with Raytheon and Customer representatives.
•Escalate risks, communicate status to safety approval authorities, and drive corrective actions while ensuring compliance with customer specifications and military standards.

Salary: USD 118,300 - 224,900 annually

Key Requirements

•Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in System Safety or a closely related field.
•Experience developing and implementing MIL-STD-882E System Safety Programs (management, analysis, evaluation, verification) for hardware and software safety tasks.
•Active and transferrable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.
•Typically requires a STEM degree; advanced degree may account for additional experience.
•Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
