Key Responsibilities

  • •Support reinsurance transaction diligence, negotiation, documentation, and execution.
  • •Advise on, draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts for international reinsurance business.
  • •Provide corporate legal support for reinsurance transactions, including contractual compliance, governance, regulatory filings, and documentation management.
  • •Deliver timely legal analysis of applicable laws and regulations and advise business personnel on legal/regulatory aspects of transactions.
  • •Collaborate with actuarial, finance, and corporate development teams and coordinate external legal counsel as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified lawyer with at least 6 years of legal experience (law firm and/or in-house) in financial services.
  • •Experience in M&A, reinsurance and/or other transactional work, with knowledge of life (re)insurance and/or asset management as an advantage.
  • •Expertise in legal and regulatory issues for negotiating and consummating reinsurance and/or strategic corporate acquisitions.
  • •Ability to draft, negotiate, and consummate transaction agreements for reinsurance, M&A, or complex corporate transactions.
  • •Experience with cross-jurisdictional transactions and strong professionalism, ethics, and attention to detail.
