Engineering Manager leading the Cloudera Cloud Foundation (CCF) team, building and operating the foundation layer for managed Kubernetes clusters across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and OpenStack. Key Responsibilities

•Lead, grow, and mentor a team of platform and software engineers responsible for CCF's foundation services, distributed across European, Indian, and US time zones.
•Own delivery and execution end-to-end for CCF: roadmap, commitments, predictability, quality, and operational excellence.
•Partner with architects to translate architecture into well-scoped engineering work; bring independent judgment to technical decisions and escalate cleanly when needed.
•Drive multi-tenant, multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OpenStack) design and execution, ensuring CCF behaves consistently across substrates.
•Recruit, hire, and onboard engineers across multiple geographies; run performance management, career development, and 1:1s.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of engineering management experience leading platform, infrastructure, or cloud-native teams
•Experience leading distributed teams across Europe and North America
•Hands-on familiarity with the Kubernetes ecosystem and related tooling (Helm, GitOps, CI/CD)
•Track record of shipping infrastructure software including packaging, distribution, and lifecycle
•BSc/MSc in a relevant field or equivalent experience
