Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a commercial market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems on-site, coordinating with team leaders/project managers and customers while ensuring safety and accountability of company equipment. Use technical knowledge of HVAC theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts, along with hand tools and modern software/technology, to diagnose and repair units. Work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and overnight stays.

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand on-site installation and repair requirements, forecasting issues and synchronizing work.
•Serve as direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Diagnose and repair HVAC units using hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording usage and condition.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent, with typically 5+ years of HVAC experience; technical school/formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with handheld devices (smartphone, iPad).
•Must possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations.
•EPA Certification.
•Ability to coordinate installation and repairs on-site, using blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
