Job Summary

Conduct scheduled privacy reviews and on-site facility walkthroughs to assess the effectiveness of HIPAA privacy and security programs for the DHS Privacy Office. Document findings and route risk intelligence to privacy and GRC teams, verify corrective and preventive actions, and review safeguards and reporting for accuracy. Build relationships across multiple locations to provide field visibility, produce clear review reporting, and support remediation, policy reviews, and audits as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Carry out scheduled privacy reviews and on-site facility walkthroughs according to the audit plan.
•Identify and document findings; route field observations to privacy and GRC teams as risk intelligence.
•Review field-observable safeguards, flag gaps, and verify corrective and preventive actions resolve findings.
•Build and maintain working relationships across locations to give the privacy program visibility into field operations.
•Produce clear, consistent reporting on reviews, findings, and field observations for privacy leadership.

Key Requirements

•Minimum six years combined experience working with PHI in a healthcare or human-services setting, including HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules.
•Conduct structured privacy reviews and document findings clearly and consistently.
•Undergraduate degree or 6+ years of relevant experience.
•Hold or be able to obtain privacy certifications (e.g., IAPP, CHPC, CIPP, and/or CISA).
•Reside or relocate to the Little Rock, AR or central AR area (local candidates only).
