Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to new product development within the steel frame product line.
•Support assessing manufacturability of proposed new steel frame designs and travel to frame suppliers to learn how best to manufacture frames.
•Develop steel frame products and support engineering design work.
•Support module factory compatibility by visiting module manufacturers and translating learnings into design work.
•Support module test lab setup, establish best practices, engage in failure analysis, and communicate results.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•B.S. or M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
•3+ years of relevant experience
•Toolsets required: SolidWorks, ePDM, FEA (ANSYS preferred)
•Extensive knowledge/experience with drawings, model and tolerance standards and application
•Strong understanding of DFM for sheet metal stampings and roll-forming
