Key Responsibilities

•Act as a member of the Software Development Department, responsible for software development of LAN switch products.
•Work with internal teams to investigate current and future architectures, requirements, and technology needs.
•Be responsible for one or more routing and related software functions/modules embedded in the product, and develop them through design, coding, testing, and bug fixing.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with software, hardware, and quality assurance teams to deliver high-quality products.
•Proactively participate in solving technical and complex issues and research/apply new technologies relevant to product development.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of software development experience in the IT/software industry.
•Experience in UNIX software development using the C programming language; TCP/UDP socket programming or API development is a plus; Python or other language experience is a plus.
•Knowledge and experience with routing technologies (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) using FRRouting/Quagga/GateD, and advanced technologies like EVPN-VXLAN, SRv6.
•Ability to investigate and modify Linux kernel source code when defects are identified.
•Basic networking knowledge (Layer 2/3) and operation/configuration of network switches; strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
