Job Summary

Lead governance, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Discovery Group (DG) SHEC Management System, ensuring alignment with AA standards while supporting practical, accessible, future-focused safety, health, environment, and conformance outcomes. Coordinate planning and performance reviews, drive SHEC communications and engagement, manage integration during acquisitions and change, and design digital platforms (including an LMS) to improve onboarding, training, and “no repeats” learning-from-incidents execution.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate SHEC inputs into annual and multi-year plans and budget.
•Establish and maintain performance review models against plan and budget.
•Lead design and integration of the DG SHEC Management System across acquisitions and organizational change initiatives.
•Represent DG at group level to design and implement onboarding and training via an automated, accessible LMS and related training matrix/content.
•Lead or participate in incident investigations using the Learning From Incidents (LFI) methodology and coach country teams to reinforce a “no repeats” culture.

Key Requirements

•Undergraduate degree (bachelor’s/honours or equivalent) in a SHEC-related discipline.
•Project management qualification in a relevant methodology.
•Knowledge of SHEC management system design and governance, including integration of SHEC systems.
•Understanding of conformance and assurance processes, including ISO management system structures (desirable).
•Fluency in English; Spanish and/or Portuguese are desirable.
