Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise the LWD process on-site, including tool preparation, data acquisition, log generation, and quality control.
  • •Serve as a second man in a subordinate role; help ensure accurate, timely, high-quality service delivery to customers.
  • •Provide technical consultation covering mud hydraulics, BHA planning, formation evaluation, drilling tendencies, mud system, and BHA dynamics.
  • •Test tools and equipment before, during, and after each job; identify and correct operational problems to reduce service impact.
  • •Complete required forms, databases, and reports and ensure BHA assembly is as planned (e.g., make-up torque, doping, handling).

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of three months of field experience in M/LWD.
  • •Completion of the basic M/LWD training program and passing required company tests.
  • •Ability to read and interpret formation well logs and directional survey information and other well-site data.
  • •Strong communication, arithmetic, and data entry/recording skills for accurate documentation.
  • •Possess relevant on- and offshore safety certificates; STEM bachelor’s degree is preferred.
