Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and drive the technical direction for Android experiences across high-impact product areas using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android APIs.
  • •Lead complex, ambiguous initiatives end to end from early strategy and architecture through experimentation, launch, and long-term evolution.
  • •Partner with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and Data Scientists to influence roadmaps and deliver customer and business impact.
  • •Establish and uphold engineering standards, architecture patterns, and development practices to improve quality, scalability, maintainability, and developer velocity.
  • •Act as a technical leader by mentoring engineers, driving design reviews, unblocking critical decisions, and raising execution and collaboration standards.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of professional experience developing Android applications, including leading large-scale or technically complex mobile initiatives.
  • •Deep proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java, plus strong Android SDK fundamentals and architecture patterns such as MVVM.
  • •Strong experience with Jetpack Compose and coroutines/Flow or RxJava, and common libraries such as Retrofit and Room applied at scale.
  • •Track record of leading through ambiguity by driving architecture across multiple projects or surfaces.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
